Stars Behavioral Health Group's
Capital Star Community Services

Capital Star’s Youth Help Network (YHN) program offers free short-term peer support for all 16 to 25 year old youth in Sacramento County. YHN assists and connects youth to long-term services and utilizes the social problem-solving core practice model to support youth to improve and maintain their overall wellbeing. The Transition to Independence Process (TIP) is used to create a space for youth to learn their strengths and apply them during challenging situations.

The Full Service Partnership (FSP) program for young adults ages 16-25 provides mental health services and supports individuals in their transition into adulthood. FSP utilizes TIP Transition Domains to equip young people with sustainable tools that are person-centered to ensure further stabilization, and increase self-sufficiency in the community. With the use of TIP, FSP has been able to further engage and assist individuals to work towards their personal effectiveness, wellbeing, and independence.
