1. Collaboration Every Step of the Way

Beginning with your first contact with us and continuing until our clinical training and implementation services have ended, the Stars Training Academy staff will be highly attuned to your unique organizational and training needs. The Academy’s Managing Director will work with you to collectively design a scope of work and clinical training and implementation contract that fits your goals, vision and budget. Throughout the life of your contract a designated Stars Training Academy Consultant/Trainer will provide you with a customized schedule of professional services that addresses your preferences and program needs. We will collaborate with you throughout the entire process, ensuring that you’re informed, involved and empowered throughout the life of the contract.

2. Quality Training

The Stars Training Academy’s Consultant/Trainers are all seasoned clinicians possessing extensive experience in clinical settings who utilize research-based, Adult-Learning principles and methods to engage and motivate trainees in dynamic, interactive and rewarding clinical trainings. Our consultants/trainers employ a variety of training methodologies to accommodate a range of adult learning styles in order to create a stimulating and fun learning environment.

3. Focus on Sustainable Implementation

Research estimates that simply attending a live training for a new clinical practice results in only about a 5% transfer of learning to practice. Research also indicates that by following the precepts of implementation Science (IS), an organization’s goal of achieving sustainable, high-fidelity implementation of an evidenced-supported practice is greatly enhanced. Stars Training Academy Consultant/Trainers apply specific tools and strategies based on IS. For example, we recommend that you assess your organizational readiness, and take steps to prepare your organization in advance of trainings. And, we support and encourage follow-up services after trainings such as in-vivo technical assistance, competency-based coaching and rapid improvement cycles, among others to support successful implementation.
